Tech It Out for Summer

                  Sparking Innovation and Fun through STEAM Programs

                        STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math

Fun, interactive, and challenging programs for youth in 5th – 12th grades. All classes are based in technology while focusing on a variety of topics to encourage kids in science, technology, engineering, arts, math (STEAM) programs. Regardless of experience, all kids are encouraged to join in and be innovators!

Our programs are taught by CCSU Faculty, CCSU Alumni and teachers that are experts in their field.  Some class materials may need to be purchased on your own prior to class.  See the specific class descriptions for materials needed, and computer requirements.   

Classes are held on the beautiful New Britain campus of CCSU.  Classes begin at 9:00am and end at 3:00pm with a break for lunch.  Lunch is served in the university cafeteria and we offer a large variety of Vegan and Vegetarian options.  The "Simple Servings" station has menus which exclude milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and gluten from our daily menus.

No Medical forms are needed for these courses, however permission forms should be brought to class on the 1st day.  Permission forms will be emailed to the contact on the registration prior to the start of the class.  An email confirmation with driving directions and room location will be emailed to the email address on file 1 week prior to the class start date.
